Oktoberfest Hanoi 2014

Under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German General Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, the German Business Association (GBA) with its more than 160 German member corporations co-hosts and celebrates Germany’s largest cultural event in the two cities of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi this coming October.

More than 10.000 visitors are expected to participate in Ho Chi Minh City and 3.000 visitors in Hanoi, which makes the German Oktoberfests in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City not only the largest German cultural events in Vietnam, but also across South East Asia. The Oktoberfest in Ho Chi Minh City is already ranked amongst the TOP 10 Oktoberfests outside of Munich/Germany according to the Reuters News Agency.

We are proud that the Oktoberfests in Vietnam became so popular amongst Vietnamese and the entire foreign community in Vietnam, which is a culture bridge of bringing people together with excitement!”, Elmar Dutt, Chairman of the German Business Association (GBA) states.

The German Oktoberfests in Vietnam definitely create the authentic atmosphere found in the massive beer halls of the original Oktoberfest in Munich, complete with delicious German cuisine, premium imported German brews and a great party mood with very authentic Bavarian music from the Munich Band who promises to keep the party in both cities rocking through the nights this year. Our guests will once again ‘go loud’ with rock hits and popular Bavarian folk, sing in chores, swing the beer mugs for toasting, hold each other’s hands and dance together with great enjoyment.

The Oktoberfest 2014 in Hanoi at JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel, a luxury five star hotel in Hanoi, on Thursday 23rd & Friday 24th of October 2014.
The GBA, team up with JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel, to make the 05th Oktoberfest in Hanoi happen. “This year’s Oktoberfest Hanoi is promising to be even bigger and more exciting and we expect on both event days a sold out event with more than 3.000 guests, Elmar Dutt, Chairman of the German Business Association states.

Be sure to bring all your friends, customers and partners for an almost truly authentic experience of Bavarian and German culture in Vietnam to celebrate what Vietnamese and German’s love most: a mug of cold, fresh brewed beer.
