Under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, the German Business Association (GBA) with its more than 160 German member corporations co-hosts and celebrates Germany’s largest cultural event in the two cities of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi this coming October.
More than 15,000 visitors are expected to participate in Ho Chi Minh City and 2,500 visitors in Hanoi, which makes the Oktoberfests in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City of the German Business Association (GBA) not only the largest German cultural events in Vietnam, but also across South East Asia. The Oktoberfest in Ho Chi Minh City is already ranked amongst the TOP 10 Oktoberfests outside of Munich/Germany according to the Reuters News Agency.
“We are proud that the Oktoberfests in Vietnam became such popular landmark-events amongst Vietnamese and the entire German and foreign community in Vietnam, which is a culture bridge of bringing people together with excitement!”, Elmar Dutt, Chairman of the German Business Association (GBA) states.
The Oktoberfest in Vietnam of the German Business Association (GBA) definitely create the authentic atmosphere found in the massive beer halls of the original Oktoberfest in Munich, complete with delicious German cuisine, premium imported German brews and a great party mood with very authentic Bavarian music from the band “Gaukis Bavaria” in Ho Chi Minh City and the “Anton Showband” in Hanoi, who promise to keep the party in both cities rocking through the nights this year. Our guests will once again ‘go loud’ with rock hits and popular Bavarian folk music, sing in chores, swing the beer mugs for toasting, hold each other’s hands and dance together with great enjoyment.
The Oktoberfest 2014 in Hanoi at JW Marriott Hotel: Thursday 23rd & Friday 24th of October 2014.
This is the first time for the GBA to team up with the JW Marriott Hotel organizing the 05th Oktoberfest in Hanoi. A specially designed tent “Festzelt” like in Munich on the original “Wiesn” is set to revive the utmost authentic atmosphere we could offer.
“This year’s Oktoberfest Hanoi is promising to be even bigger and more exciting and we expect on both event days a sold out event with more than 2,500 guests”, Elmar Dutt, Chairman of the German Business Association states.
Thanks to the support of our 11 sponsors who make the event possible and successful: Andritz Hydro, Rieckermann, Schenker Vietnam, Euro Auto - BMW Importer, Siemens, Haefele Vina JSC, Jägermeister, Messer Hai Phong, MISDA, Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier and Peter Cremer
