Under the patronage of the German Embassy in Vietnam and the German General Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, the German Business Association (GBA) co-hosts and celebrates the Germany’s largest cultural event in Vietnam this coming October.
More than 15.000 visitors are expected to participate in Ho Chi Minh City and 2.500 visitors in Hanoi, which makes the Oktoberfest 2013 not only the largest German cultural event in Vietnam, but also one of the largest events across South East Asia.
The Oktoberfest definitely shows the best of German “Gemuetlichkeit” (Coziness) in a traditional Bavarian beer-garden atmosphere, with traditional fresh-brewed Oktoberfest-Beer, German food delicacies and popularly Bavarian folk music, which let people to sing in chores, swing the beer mugs for toasting, hold each other’s hands and dance together with great enjoyment.
The Oktoberfest Saigon 2013 at Windsor Plaza Hotel: 11th, 12th of October 2013 and 15th till 19th of October 2013.
Organized in Ho Chi Minh City by the German Business Association and the Windsor Plaza Hotel, the 21st Oktoberfest 2013 marks not only one of the largest social events and parties in town but the biggest Oktoberfest in Vietnam and South East Asia this year.
Be sure to bring your lederhosen and dirndl for a truly authentic experience matched with dance-inducing rock hits and popular Bavarian folk music from Munich “Gaudiblosn”. New to this year Oktoberfest, they are prepared to keep the party rocking through the night and let people sing in chores, swing the beer mugs for toasting, hold each other’s hands and dance together with great enjoyment. Don’t forget to test your wits and strength with traditional Bavarian games. And throughout the night stand a chance to win valuable lucky draw prizes.
