Germany Trade and Invest is the foreign trade and inward investment agency of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the Federal Government Commissioner for the New Federal Länder. The mission is to promote Germany as a location for industrial and technological investments and to identify investors for the German market. The organization advises and supports foreign companies seeking to expand into the German market. The promotion of economic activities in Germany’s new federal states, including Berlin, forms an integral part of the agency’s external trade and business location marketing remit.

Germany Trade and Invest has a representative in Hanoi which performs on-site research into the Vietnamese markets. We support foreign businesses looking to establish a company and work closely with Delegation of the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam. Together, we act as a first point of contact overseas for German exporters and potential Vietnamese investors alike. Further client-specific information and consultancy services are provided by the headquarters in Berlin with an additional office in Bonn.

The German Business Portal is the central information point about the German market for international entrepreneurs.
