The GIS German International School has been established in 2009 and provides bilingual tuition in English and German language. The school is supported by the German Government and part of a network of more than 100 educational institutions in the network of German / German International Schools.
GIS offers an intimate school atmosphere with high standards of education. Extra curricular activities focus on arts and sports. We have been starting with Kindergarten / Pre-school and Primary school, up to Grade 5 and will continually develop Secondary Grades with annually adding one additional grade. All nationalities are welcome!
In the Kindergarten we facilitate the development of our students in a safe and happy environment. We keep our constantly focus on meaningful activities, developing the child’s eagerness to learn, imagine play, exploring together and encouraging friendships.
The Pre-school is the valuable intermediary between kindergarten and school. The language based education includes core subjects taught, cross-cultural and aesthetic activities as well as the promotion of social and emotional values.
Development of individuality, creativity and responsibility along international approach to learning are at the core of the primary school. Our highly qualified teachers offer an international approach to learning. In the small classes the teachers are our student’s partners for the development of individually, creativity and responsibility.
Our school concept is based on the six pillars to gain positive social skills, value self-discovery, find harmony with the environment, gain independence and encourage curiosity.
