MGB Metro Group Buying HK Limited

Metro Group Buying Hong Kong is the buying office of the Metro Group and is handling the import business of all sales divisions which are belonging to the Metro Group (Metro C&C, real, Media Markt & Saturn and Galeria Kaufhof). Currently the Metro Group is located in 33 different countries and are operating more than 2.500 stores worldwide.
Besides this MGB is also the import agent for a couple of third party customers.
As a buying office the complete supply chain will be managed. The service provided goes from supplier sourcing, procurement handling, tailor-made logistic solutions, QA and QC services, account and finance to own brand management.
The product groups handled by the Representative Office in Vietnam vary from household, indoor and outdoor furniture, pottery, all kind of seafood and textile to all kind of products which can be sold at one of the Metro Group stores.
Core competency: market research, supplier sourcing, factory - and social audits, order placement, buying trip arrangement, order follow up, lab test, own brand handling, pre-shipment inspection, logistic and export document handling and of course building up strategic long lasting partnerships with existing and new suppliers.
