APCO Worldwide acquired Batey Burn, a leading investment consulting and government relations firm in Asia, in 1999. Today APCO's Vietnam offices provide public affairs and strategic communication services, as well as investment consulting, with a particular focus on market access strategies and business development in Vietnam. With offices established in Hanoi in 1994 and in Ho Chi Minh City in 1998, we have worked for clientele in a diverse range of sectors, including food and beverage, fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceutical and health care, information technology, telecommunications, education, aviation, automobiles, energy, manufacturing, chemicals.
In Vietnam, APCO advises companies on the political, bureaucratic and regulatory environment affecting foreign business the complex Vietnam markets. We have long-established relationships with ministries, commissions and other state bodies responsible for foreign trade and investment. We also monitor and advise on the implications of policy and regulatory changes and help with product registration, labeling, testing, promotion and other market access barriers.
